Hi! I'm Mary, the artist behind Arcaria Nails:)

I've been playing games since I was five. Before Arcaria, I was a pixel artist at a small studio, spending my days building tiny worlds one square at a time. I loved the work. I didn't love an industry that ran on passion it never gave back, it burned me out completely, and in 2024 it ended. I decided that if I was going to give everything to someone's art, it may as well be my own. Living from what I make had always been the dream. So I started here.

The idea came from my own hands. I'm sensitive and can't wear nails all day, but I loved what they did for an outfit, a little piece of art you get to look at while you type, while you play. And long nails and Dark Souls or League do not get along, at least not for someone as clumsy as me. Press-ons solved it: on when I want them, off when I need. I studied, practised, ruined a lot of sets, and eventually got good at it. Then I made them about the thing I love most. Gaming merch has always been designed for a male audience. I wanted something for the girls who main the same characters, who know the lore, who want to bring that world with them, and who also need to take it off to play. Every set is hand painted by me in soft gel.

When I'm not painting nails I'm gaming, making clay figures, hand-made necklaces, or slowly finding my way back to drawing, the excitement is returning, little by little. Someday I'd love to open a proper nail and tattoo studio. I have far too many ideas and every intention of getting to them
